Ettin farming most likely. Got about 5-6 Superior Vigors off that when they were worth something.

Talus Chute +Snake Dance farming on my warrior back before the Sup Abs+Knights+- damage was nerfed.

That same run on my 55 monk, but getting the free chest in Dreadknoughts. It was nerfed by the time I knew about it of course, but it still yielded pretty nice drops.

Griffon farming on warrior of course, that was great fun. 55 monk farming with SoJ and Balths Aura. Things died fast!

Also not so much a nerf as a past time.. but when people used to chest run Nahpui and Hell's Precipice. The former during that first double gold from chest weekend...some long hours and fun times there.

I would have to say I agree with you on this one, even though I did it after loot scaling

Ettins, giants, griffons, tengu, frozen chest, and lost stronghold box (both of which are no longer in game. If you were around in 2005 you know what I'm talking about).

You can still do that, although loot scaling hits the drops pretty hard. Easy Stygian gems. Guide.

55/SS UW before Factions was nice. Factions was okay, but Nightfall & Hard Mode made it T_T.

5-men SF was quite fun too!

Ahhh, the nostalgia...

While I've played for a long time, I've only realized the fun and legitimacy of solo farming in the past year or two. My first farm was the Destroyer Core Terra Tank farm in Glint's Challenge. Hard mode through the first two waves. Sell the cores for 300g and golds, 7=5k. Not too shabby. I E/A Raptor farm on occasion, but the tourney prediction keys finance all I really want from the game now.

Also, this.

Jezzus. I wish i would have been privy to this farm before the nerf. That looked like loads of fun. I love Big explosions.

In reality those farms were new school in most ways since the real chest running happened before they started removing keyless chests.
